Recently, Windows 10 did an automatic update on drivers, and I lost the option for the x resolution which I also need. Next, I right-clicked on my desk-top screen and clicked on Display Settings. There was an option to Display Adapter Properties.

After clicking on this, it was showing “Microsoft Basic Display Driver” and this was up to date. I was confused at this point as I am no wizard when it comes to computers. The trick is though, update it to January update. Reason being? AMD does not have a current working driver for this graphics card. This is what the technician told me. He did this for me by remote assistance, but it is a simple step.
